We needed our east brick wall removed, house wrapped and rebricked due to water leakage from the poor workmanship of the original builder. We contacted a few contractors. Some never called back, some wanted to fix the problem from the inside, and some were way overpriced. Finally, I found Clayson Construction on Homestars and read all the positive reviews. I contacted Steve and he came out the next day. I found him very personable and knowledgeable. He understood the problem of mortar bridging and how this can lead to water intrusion and costly repairs.
The quoted price of the work was reasonable and Steve said he could get to work on it as soon as possible as the weather was getting colder for bricklaying. Steve and his crew assembled the scaffold and got to work removing the brick wall and fiberboard. After waterproofing the wall with house wrap the new brick was installed. I checked several times behind the bricks as the wall was going back up and what do you know I didnt see any mortar protruding into the one-inch space between the inside brick and house wrap and, the weeping holes at the bottom were also mortar free. The job was done on time and Steve kept us informed each day as to the schedule. The job has been completed, and we can now rest assured when the driving east rain comes the new brick wall will function as it was intended to. I highly recommend Clayson Construction Services for your next project.

I'm so glad how it turned out Tim. This is unfortunately becoming more of a common problem since the products they used in that era of residential building where not adequate to prevent water penetration with the changing climate conditions.
