same lack of service. Cant see why the BBB cant match it to all the other complaiants under his other names

terrible service google their name in news. CBC aired numerous reports. Now they have changed name to http://www.snowcentralottawa.com/ BEWARE they will take your money and do nothing. This company is a sc$m, positive reviews are likely fake.

If it were possible to give a negative rating, I would. They never showed up after a big snowstorm in Jan 2015, made all sorts of excuses and promises they never kept, said they'd give us our money back after we took them to court but the cheque bounced. I would strongly recommend not doing business with them!

Paid $350 for landscaping package for fertilization, over-seeding, they were going to come next day with the bags of seeds and tools but never showed up. I phoned them for months and never got any answer or reply to my messages.

Awful awful experience with this company , never showed up . I wish i never hired them . never return call , never being treated as bad as the had did to me and my property .

Unreliable. Unreachable. And do not honour their service. Their claim for no service to my home was written in an email to me, 4 days after I had been trying to reach them by phone and email. They wrote that my area had 20 streets shut down? Who are they kidding? I investigating this claim with Ottawa fire and it is false. They sent the same message to all the people they didn't service on Jan 4, so that would mean the entire city was shut down because of a gas leak. I am filing a dispute with my credit card company and Consumer Reports. This is unacceptable for any business. I am expecting a full refund.

This is our second winter using Ace of Blades Snow Removal. Was a rocky start last year, they did not show up for the first two snow storms. Now this year, they did not show up at our home in Wellington Village after the snow-ice storm we had on Jan. 3 and 4, 2015. We waited 48 hours and then gave up on them and cleared our own driveway and then our neighbours to the right, who also contracted them out for snow removal. Our neighbour to the left also hired them and ended up snowblowing his driveway. They still have not shown their face in this area of town, many others who hired them within the Island Park, Richmond Road and Wellington Street areas did not get their driveways plowed as legally promised via contract by Ace of Blades. This company is not on the ball, they are fraudulent, and we will not be hiring them them next winter. Here is a picture of my husband having to snowblow the driveway himself. Notice the sign. Ace of Blades you are a huge disappointment and we want our money back NOW.

We contracted with Grant of Ace of Blades for the winter of 2014-2015. We have had a snowfall, and no service. I am so disappointed that they have taken my money. Reading other stories, it is the same thing. I am going to the police and filing a complaint of fraud. I am also taking this publically to CJOH and any other media who are interested. This is just wrong to smooth talk us into a service and not deliver. I will never do this again, nor recommend Ace of Blades. Avoid this company, they will give you a snow job! Email goes unanswered, it bounces back and the phone line message box is always full.

I was apprehensive about hiring these guys because their rates seemed too good to be true, plus I had read some bad reviews about them. I thought I'd give Grant a chance based on some references he gave me (which I followed up on) and I am gravely disappointed that I didn't follow my instinct to steer clear. We had a terrible storm this weekend that has still not been cleared. Grant gave me his cell number to contact him directly if I had issues, but he has not responded to any of my calls or texts. Today I have noticed that the BBB has an ALERT on their business due to numerous unresolved complaints. I am thinking that I might even look into opening a fraud investigation with the Ottawa Police. DO NOT USE THEM!!

These people simply fail to show up. They just took the money and leaned back. Extremely disappointing, will never use or recommend them again. Terrible service, avoid at all costs.
