Disappointing result in maintenance job

Paid for lawn weed control spray and two times of biweekly flowerbed maintenance. I emailed Ben that weeds on lawn and flowerbeds didn’t improve after his visit. He emailed back and said he’d re-spray. After a month, didn’t notice any improvement. I can’t tell if Ben even came after my email. Thought I’d support small guy instead of paying less for franchise company. But disappointed.
