Worst moving nightmare we ever experienced. We booked Pro Moves for a second time as they did a great job 3 years ago for us. This time the owner, Terry, was part of the crew with 2 other fellows and arrived at 12pm to move our 3 bedroom semi. He quoted $135 per hour and recommended a medium sized truck based on our description of a 3 bedroom home. They arrived and he immediately said their truck was too small but they would do their best to squeeze everything in. All through the job, he kept getting angrier and blamed us for not scheduling more time as the job took longer than originally planned and he had another job early in the morning. He then filled the truck leaving 25% of the items still in our home and demanded we pay him in cash before he would deliver the items to our new home. He said he hoped we had the money to pay for this. He then took our credit card and charged us 5% surcharge. He charged us in total $1833.00 for a 3 bedroom semi. My wife, son and I had to rent a 14 foot Uhaul and finish the move ourselves all while the buyer was angrily waiting. We finally got out at 9PM and had to leave many items at our neighbours as they would not fit on the truck. Afterwards he apologized for getting angry and gave us a small credit of $150. Over all the total we paid amounted to over $1700.00. Although the items they moved were delivered in good condition and the 2 employees were great, we were very unsatisfied with the Owner and his attitude. My wife and I were thoroughly exhausted and very regretful we hired them and will never use or recommend him in the future.
