Worst builder ever! Avoid this company at all costs! I have been working in the trades for 16 years and I can't believe how badly this deal went. We bought after the house was complete and the garage was not built yet but we were sold on the plan for the garage.
They will cut corners in every way possible.
They Failed to build our garage as per the design we were sold. Our garage was planned to have a concrete curb running the full length from front to back on the sides and an expansion joint down the middle. This didn't happen. The floor cracked badly. The walls were planned to be 2x6 on 16" centers this didn't happen, we got 2x4 on 24" centers. The garage was to be insulated and drywalled, when they told me that was not going to happen i had to almost have lawyers involved to get it done.When asked why they didn't build to the drawings we were sold on they told us, " We don't build to the drawings. The drawings are only a guideline." So the plan you buy may not be what you get.
Our fireplace was installed damaged and they would not repair or replace it.
The electrical is a disaster. Wrong wiring used underground to the garage. Bedrooms not on an AFCI circuit.
Plumbing in the basement is not done well, there was no care to install with any professional thought or planning.
None of the exterior penetrations were sealed.
Who knows what inside the walls and ceilings looks like.
