I contacted this company through a local building supplier, who highly recommended it, to do a deck extension (7ft. x 14ft.) to an existing balcony. That was a mistake. I met with his estimator March 26th 2018, for a preview and pricing on the project. I did not feel that his estimator (Blythe) had a good understanding of construction at that time but went along with some of what he proposed as far as the details of the project went. I made a few minor changes to my plan along the way. I met with Robert (the company owner) once, prior to start up, and never saw him again. The project was to start before the end of May 2018. Part of the job and pricing was to include a detailed plan and building permit as required by the City. I have never seen either. To date I don't know if my project will pass town inspection. The only drawings made up were sketches, not to scale, that I drew up. The job was to be finished before June 16th, 2018, according to the estimator, when we were going on holidays, but didn't get underway until July 10th. The job wasn't completed until almost mid October, with lots of unexplained delays. We had lots of emails, texts, and calls between the estimator and myself but only heard from Robert by phone a couple of times and never saw him on site except that first visit before it all started. I don't believe he had any interest in the project except to get his money. I paid by two postdated cheques, 50% up front to be cashed on startup, and the balance on completion, which he cashed when he felt he was done. However, he hasn't really completed the job as I still have no copy of the plan and permit, which I again asked for in a phone call from Robert November 16th, 2018. I have records of all texts and phone calls with Robert and Blythe. I could go on but for what purpose?
