lets start that Im an extremely avid bbq'r! I had Ian build me a cedar canopy pergola for my argentinian charcoal bbq. As usual he completed the job on time, on budget and was a premier build out. I have enjoyed countless hours under it shilding me from rain and the sun!

Hayco Renovations renovated two bathrooms in my house. I was so happy with the first bathroom they renovated, I called them when I had a leak in my master bathroom. Ian's estimates were very reasonable. Ian and his team are very professional, communicated well and always wanted to satisfy the client. Their work is of excellent quality and they completed the project on time. Would recommend their service, especially like their reliability and cooperation on projects.

My husband and I are very happy with the work that Ian and his team completed on our investment property in downtown Toronto. The work included installing a brand new kitchen and bathroom, replacing closet doors, painting, electrical and other repairs. It was almost a complete overhaul.

It was really important to us to find a contractor that was skilled, honest, and a very good communicator and Ian absolutely checked all these boxes. Ian made a great first impression with his friendly and professional attitude, which he carried through the project. It is clear that he knows his stuff and is a conscientious professional.

The work was delivered on time and on budget.

Ian was very patient with us as clients, and he took the time to explain things to us (we're not handy at all) and also notify us right away of any details that might impact the final cost or look that we were trying to achieve. Another thing we appreciated was that we never felt like we were being "upsold" on any project details. The trades that Ian works with are also professional and skilled. We were especially impressed with the tiler, who did a beautiful job with the bathtub area and the kitchen back-splash, but they all did a fantastic job. We loved the final product and were ultimately able to rent out the property *within hours* of posting it online.

I would recommend Ian and Hayco Renovations, and I look forward to working with Ian in the future for projects that I have in mind for my own home. It was a pleasure!

Hayco Renovations provided us with excellent, reliable service on two complete condo renovations, also some improvements in our private home. Would recommend their service, especially like their reliability and cooperation on projects.

Ian came highly recommened! He did a fantastic job of removing carpet and installing hardwood floors in two of our bedrooms. He was very professional, got the job done very quickly and efficiently, and we are so pleased. He helped us match the bedroom floors to what we already had in the rest of the condo almost exactly. He also painted one of the bedrooms. The next time we need contracting work, we will be contacting Ian. 10 stars!

I met Ian by shear luck driving by as he was completing a sliding gate to someone's backyard.The rest is history. Hayco started at my new home to build a simple gate/ enclosure for $1,200 and it went to 60k to completing my mancave. They were professional, clean, prompt, honest and most importantly, a good bunch of guys to work with. Ian is a stand up guy and a real pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate for one second not using him again for any job around the house or referring him to a friend. I am in the construction industry, I can tell you that the next price check with Hayco will be...……….. "are you happy with what you have quoted me", "then we have a deal". He is extremely fair is his pricing. I understand fully that the best job is not nec the best beat down achievement of a contract negotiation. He was extremely fair and equitable on his pricing and I was very happy to see that. We negotiated 4 times to different parts of the construction and each one developed better! You wont be disappointed should you use Hayco for your next renovation project.

We hired Ian and his team for a project to upgrade the basement and two bathrooms in our new house. Specifically, in the basement we were adding pot lights, changing out the carpet and evening out the ground; and for the two bathrooms we were changing the tiles, toilet, shower fixtures and one of the bathroom vanities.

We needed the work to be completed within a month so we could move into the house. Ian was fast and thorough in providing his initial quote, so we could get started quickly.

He not only finished the job on time, but everything was also done really well. He made suggestions along the way for additional fixes such as replacing broken heaters and fixing poor plumbing, but didn't put any pressure for us to do them and was flexible on the price, understanding our budgetary constraints. Even with the additional fixes, he still finished the job on time!

He is wonderful to work with and we appreciated that we kept us updated regularly with progress on the job. We would be happy to work with him again on future home projects. Thanks Ian for getting us off to a great start in our home :)

Ian and Mike built a lovely fence for our backyard. They started & finished the work on time, maintained a clean and safe worksite, and were very polite. The fence looks great, and we still receive numerous compliments from neighbours and passers-by.

Ian and his team (Mike, Andrew and his dad) have done a great job to our bathroom renovation. This is our first renovation since we moved to our house 11 years ago.
Ian was one of the 3 contractors recommended by HomeStars. I have read great reviews about Ian (HayCo Renovations) that I did not bother to call the other 2 contractors and went ahead with him. I would say that I made the right decision. I've read about his relationship with his clients to be one of friendship and congeniality and I can attest to that! I would highly recommend him and he will be my go-to guy in all my renovations in the future.

Ian was prompt, courteous, efficient and had a wonderful sense of design. He is easy to get a long with and knows how to build things.We would highly recommend him for others we plan to use him again for other projects we will be doing.
His employee Chris was also a great worker and very friendly and did a great job. We were very pleased with the whole project.
Hayco is and will continue to be our go to.
