Hollander Landscaping

Hollander turned our small, urban backyard from an eyesore into our favourite part of the home. Everyone who visits comments on how much they love it. So the end result was great. But the process of getting there was even better -- the team arrived first thing in the morning each day, and worked solidly until evening. They returned every day until the job was done. Incredibly professional and courteous. They guarantee their work so the following spring, replaced a few plants that died over the harsh winter. Highly Recommend!

After a basement flood, I engaged Hollander Landscaping to help me redesign my back and front yards, so they would prevent other incidents.

Josh from Hollander showed solid knowledge and professionalism from the start. He quickly understood my needs and made valuable suggestions to improve the outcome of the project. He put a proposal together right after.

In the course of the project, his team showed up on time and delivered as promised. Right after finishing, Josh came to check all was fine and only then he was okay to get the final payment.

Of note, part of the project required them to dig out three cedars from my neighbor and put them back.

After 6 months the cedars died and Josh replaced them at no cost. He also followed up with me to confirm my new lawn was doing well and corrected a couple things after the ground had settled.

Josh and his team are by far the best professionals I have worked with. I have a few other projects coming and I will want them back without a doubt.

Peter and Josh took our wreck of a yard and transformed it from an embarrassment to a masterpiece and to source of great pride and enjoyment. Our neighbors and friends have oohed and awed at their work. They are both professional to a tee and a joy to work with.
Peter was a landscape artist and a landscape genius. He was an exceptional listener and we felt that he really understood our needs. We presented so many challenges such as being adamant not to have grass, and to have only perennials. Peter rose to our challenges like a hero and with such good humor. We were very impressed with his meticulous study of our space and the unique and innovative design plan that he came up with. His recommendations were continuously spot on… from the stonework to the plants. He transformed our vision far beyond what we could have ever imagined. It is hard to believe that the back yard we now have is the same property as what was there before. Peter was a pleasure to work with.
Josh implemented Peter’s plan. The stonework was exceptionally executed and is simply beautiful. The woodwork on the gazebo is stunning. The diligence of each person who worked on the yard was so evident. Josh's extreme efficiency in getting the work done moved the project along much faster than we had ever thought possible. Josh's workers excelled at cleaning the workspace every day. We appreciate the uncompromising commitment to quality of every member of the team. If we voiced any concerns, Josh and his team were very responsive to solving the issue.
