We needed a 12 serviceberry tree removed and a 7 Japanese Maple planted. We have used Davey trees for large tree removal, but have not used them to remove a small tree and planting. We have always handled smaller jobs like this ourselves and were hesitant about hiring someone, but was urged by our neighbour to call Davey Trees. We were very glad we listened to our neighbour. We were extremely pleased with the job performed by David and Nick. They removed the old tree quickly, ground down the stump and manually dug down to remove the cage and roots. All the while, David was very informative as he explained the process and method for planting the new tree. He answered our questions patiently and pleasantly and we learned a lot from David about how to properly plant a tree to ensure the best possible outcome. There is no question that the arborists like David, are definitely experts in tree maintenance and care. In future, we would not hesitate to hire Davey Trees again to help us with tree removal and tree planting, even for the small Jobs.
