I was told that they would be at the house by 10:00 am and done by 3:00 pm; they arrived at 10:15 and paperwork was done just before 3:00.
The windows look great. I was given a demonstration on each window to show function and to know what to avoid. A window crank was missing when they arrived; it will be delivered and installed at a later date. The workers acknowledge the oversight and arranged to have it rectified.
Most of the debris was removed. There are chipped bits of the frames, etc. on the walkway and in the grass. There was one old screen left behind in one of the bedrooms.
I commented that it became sunny as they were packing up; it had rained most of the day. They commented that I hadn't rescheduled the install; I expected that if it wasn't a good time to do it that the company would have called.
At this time I am quite satisfied with the work, the function and the appearance. If any issues arise I will contact the company right away.
I chose the primed wood framing for inside the house so that I can change color if I change my mind. I don't know if I can attach accents to them without voiding warranty (eg. small hooks for garland or Christmas lights).
When the worker comes to install the window crank I will try to remember to ask what would void the warranty.
Thank you to the sales rep (Ron) and the two men who installed the windows on the rainy day, as well as the office staff for arranging things so quickly!
PS I wouldn't have gotten the text that you reference because the phone number that you have is a land line. I was told that I would receive an email to the email address that I gave. Thank you for following up!
