Fine Parging work, but abandoned us on other work they did
On the plus side, Jamil came to our rescue when we had discovered a foundation issue that needed repair in a hurry. He came on a Sunday and we were very happy with the parging work he and his team did, which is why we initially called him. When he saw we were also putting down weeping tile and installing drainage to the city drain at the back of our property, he offered to finish the digging and install the drainage tile. The team worked hard, and promised to return having committed to providing the catch basin and some remaining few feet of tile. After they left we discovered the drainage tile wasn't installed properly (running uphill at both ends). Water was backing up because of the uneven trench they dug. We had to excavate again, fix the grade and put in drainage tile and catch basin he never provided. He didn't reply to 2 text messages or a phone call. While his parging job is perfectly fine, the quality of this other work, his broken commitment and failure to call us back we won't be recommending him. This is really disappointing as we enjoyed dealing with him while he was here.
