Borys came to the rescue once again for repairs to our sump pump/pit. He installed a sealed pit cover that is required where we live, along with a new check valve and reconfiguring the discharge line. He also repaired our sewer backflow valve. Throughout the process Borys kept our home clean, really took pride in his work, and even followed up with us days later to ensure everything was working well. It's so rare to find a professional like Borys these days!

Hired Val to take care of a plumbing issue and he was very responsive. Arrived on time and replaced a valve that was leaking in our basement furnace room. Thank you for the wonderful service and I'll be sure to use your team again!

I recently moved into a new home and when we purchased the property, my home inspector noticed water damage and moisture coming from the basement walls. To address this issue, I immediately went to Homestars and contacted 5 of the top rated companies for waterproofing. Canada Waterproofers was the first one to get back to me and 1 of only 2 of the 5 that were willing to come and provide an in person estimate.

Slava (co-owner and project manager) came to my house, inspected the basement, and took measurements inside and outside. He provided detailed quotes for both internal and external waterproofing solutions and explained the process for each. He answered all of our questions and also showed us a video of one of their previous waterproofing jobs on their youtube channel. After comparing quotes, we went with Canada Waterproofers because their price was competitive and they guaranteed a lifetime warranty.

Regarding the work, they were complete professionals. The first day it started to rain hard in the aftrnoon and i thought they would pack up and go home for the day, but instead they set up tarps on the roof above the area they were digging and continued to work until 7pm that day. Every day after they finished working, they would clean up everything as though they were never there.

Further, since me and my wife couldn't watch them do the work every day, Slava and his team would take pictures each day of the work being done including digging down to the footings (5-6ft deep), applying the waterproofing layer, laying the weeping tile, refilling with gravel, compacting the ground.

It's now been about 3-4 months since we had the work done and our basement has remained dry. I would definitely recommend Canada Waterproofers and if you call them ask for Slava, he's quite knowledgeable and always responsive.

These is company to call. Valentin is professional and respectful on the job. Prompt and courteous. Arrives on time and answers questions with ease. He is polite cleaning up after installation and all in all a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Canada Waterproofers to others!

Val is a true professional. He may be young (thirties) but seems to be born of an era when men were gentlemen. He came in, was respectful, did his job and explained anything I asked, cleaned up better than it was when he arrived and was gone. He came on time and was complete and expedient. You can see that this company does great work according to the reviews but I want to give a review on the AFTER service... This tells a lot about the company.

About 8 months after they did a full waterproofing and upgrade on our basement that is in a flood zone ... I smelled something bad in the basement. I couldn't figure out the smell. I thought it might have to do with an animal dying or water trapped where it shouldn't be. Finally I had to call the company to see what they would do to of they had that smell. I was told an estimator would come out. I thought that even if they charged me to fix the problem it needed to be fixed. So Andrii comes out. Checks the basement. Asks me some questions. Checks all possibilities ... not even related to their work as waterproofers. Then he engaged the sump pumps... They worked but he kept adding water. Finally after several minutes of pouring water into the area he said that he was pretty sure the issue was fixed. Stagnant water in the sump pump reservoir. Because we hadn't had any water in the basement the pumps were never activated but there was water, which is common, in the sump pump reservoir. Andrii suggested ways to prevent this in the future. Easy things. And he was gone. No charge! Now THAT is service. And THIS is why I wholeheartedly recommend these people. And they responded quickly, too!

Val arrived on time. Worked hard without a break. Was very personable. Explained everything and left it all cleaned up and ready to go.
This company will not disappoint you. It has been a wonderful experience.

I usually dont write reviews for any services or products, but the service I received from the Canada Waterproofers team was exceptional, and I truly believe they need to be recognized and appreciated for the way they are conducting their business.
My Personal Experience:
After I was told over the phone by another plumbing company that the basement ceiling leak was most likely a result of masonry issues, I called Canada Waterproofers to come and investigate. From the initial call with their receptionist, the service was very professional and friendly. Andrii, a waterproofing expert, got in touch with me and made an appointment for a free consultation. He showed up very promptly and was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. After his investigation, he diagnosed the problem and concluded that it was a plumbing issue, not masonry. Andrii was nice enough to arrange a phone call from their own plumber (Val) for me.
Val showed up at our house for an initial investigation and was able to find the suspected leaking area behind the wall within an hour of investigation, without opening extra holes all over the ceilings and walls. Val does an incredible job. He is smart, meticulous, thorough, and very skilled. He worked tirelessly throughout the day on his second visit to prepare the area and replace the leaking portion of the drain pipes inside the wall and ceiling. Once he was finished, he went above and beyond to clean up the space. Val is very honest and pleasant, and I feel that I was provided with the best possible service.
As I was writing this review, Val sent me a text message to follow up on his work. This is another sign of great service. Thank You Val...!
