Acres Landscaping

We hired Acres to install a backyard patio at our home in oshawa and they did a fantastic job. Well written proposal and a design was prepared. We enjoyed the vision that the team had and the work was completed in a professional manor.
We decided to have the driveway paved at the same time and the finish was excellent.

My husband and I contacted Acres Landscaping because we wanted to spruce up the front yard and had been saving and planning on renovating the backyard into an oasis. After searching for Landscaping companies in Oshawa and Whitby we found Acres Landscaping. Nate came by our house for a design consultation and explained how they work and what to expect. He then prepared a digital design and an estimate. We agreed and moved forward as they were not the highest quote or the lowest but we loved Nates passion for his teams work. The crew came in and did an incredible job and left us wowed! I would highly recommend.

We contacted Acres Paving in Oshawa to tear out the old driveway and replace and repave.
We also wanted new steps installed along with some interlock borders, apron and a few garden walls. The consultant came and met with us we were supplied with a digital design and a contract.
The team came in as scheduled and did a phenomenal job and cleaned up afterwards. The work took about a week and we are amazed with the results.

We had to replace the driveway this season and contact Acres Paving & Interlock. We met with the owners and received a written quote that we thought was fair. We were impressed by the clear communication and understanding of what the process looked like. The crew finally came and tore the old driveway out. They re paved the driveway a few weeks later and it looks beautiful. We were contacted from the company at the end of their 2024 season to maybe share a review and we were more than pleased to do so. Great quality and service. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience with Heather and the crew at Acres Paving. Out of the 3 paving quotes i received they were in the middle price wise and they happened to do 4 of my neighbors on my street.
Well organized company with fantastic customer service and great communication. Heathers Salesman Jay explained the whole process to me and we agreed to move forward.
Upon the crew arriving they worked quickly and efficiently and were on schedule.
My new driveway looks incredible.

Similar to other reviewers on this site. Acres communication was infrequent to none. After 3 apparent promises to complete driveway, front pathway and steps, they did not actually follow through until 7 months after the contract was signed and deposit paid. I wont detail each of the many times I tried to get a response or scheduled date - any communication would have been better than none. They finally arrived and completed the job in less than 48 hours - and the stone front steps collapsed 16 months later, January 2024. My email to Nate was responded to immediately with a reply it would be scheduled in the spring, but it is now May and I have neither seen nor heard from anyone at the company. As usual, no response from follow up emails requesting a date. I would not recommend this company unless they radically improve customer response and work accountability.

I definitely would not recommend this company. I had almost the same experience as another reviewer on here. Great communication before the actual job, absolutely nothing afterwards.I chose this company over others because Jason, who came out to give me a quote, ( they were not the cheapest) seemed very professional and gave me a lot of information. They were supposed to repave our driveway and after cancelling twice finally showed up to dig up the driveway and said they would be back in three weeks to do the ashphalt. A week later, on the Thursday of the long weekend Jason called to say they could do it that Friday. I was away that weekend but I agreed and after receiving a picture that the job was done, I e-transefered them the money, which was my mistake. When I returned home a few days later, I saw problems with the driveway and sent Jason some pictures and asked him what he could do. Well, obviously they do not stand by their work or have any respect for there cutomers because after several unanswered phone calls and texts, I have had absolutely no response. In this economy it is very difficult to work and save money to have any kind of work done on your home. While this review will have no effect on Acres bottom line or there business as they don't really need repeat customers but new customers, I hope this review will be useful for anyone looking to have work done on their home. This company does not care once the job is done.

They were really nice up front but that was it. While the work was being done you should have seen they way they talked to me and I have the e-mails to still prove it.... I am having issues with drainage and had someone else come it to look at it and they did the weeping tile wrong so I am trying to get a hold of them as I am still within the 3 year warranty window but they refuse to get back to me.... There are many better choices out there so beware with using them.
