There was a smell coming from my basement and Mike came in to identify the issue. Mike was very professional and easy to deal with. He quickly identified the problem, walking me through the process as he scoped my pipe. He followed with multiple alternatives as well as the pros and cons of each alternative. I would highly recommend Mike for any plumbing issues/questions you may have.

As a contractor myself, I met the guys at water guard while they were working on a neighboring house to the one we were renovating. With a good referral from the neighbour, I brought them in to do work on our project. They've been my go-to for major plumbing work since.

Now with tree roots in my own drain, I gave them a call, Mike showed up next morning for a camera inspection, walked me through my options, and right on schedule they completed the job. When they arrived to do the work, they showed up with a full crew, all the equipment to make the job efficient and painless. I left them to to they're thing, went to work, came home and they were just finishing up and cleaning up.

I've referred them to many of my clients over the years, and sure enough just like the feedback I hear from my clients, they're a great group, they know their trade, honest at explaining the situation, honest at costing the job, and the kind of guys I feel comfortable leaving in my own home without feeling a need to stand over and watch their work.

My overflow hoses from humidifier, furnace and tankless water heater were flowing into the floor drain but because they were sitting on the top of the drain water was constantly over flowing onto loor and because the drain was beside the wall the baseboard and door frame was wet constantly causing wood work to swell and decompose.
Mike's crew resdirected the floor drain and set the hoses to drain directly into a separate opening eliminating any chance of water onto the floor.
This was done quickly and efficiently. They were courteous and careful of my home. The job is perfect...they cleaned up before leaving. Icould not
be happier with this job.

After my call to Waterguard, Mike arrived at my home within the hour to assess my issue. Mike provided details surrounding what needed to be done and answered patiently all of our questions surrounding the issue.
We were provided with a quote and within two days the team at Waterguard was on site to perform the repair. Mike expedited the locating with OntarioOne so that the work could be done asap.
The team arrived promptly and were on site for 12 hours to complete the job, the team took extra care in maintaining the existing landscape and kept the work site very tidy. Mike kept us informed of each step and status of the repair throughout the repair process.
I personally would highly recommend the team at Waterguard, I was very satisfied with the job performed.

Discovered a broken water main on a Saturday. Basement was starting to flood. Called Water Guard and Mike was at our home shortly after. He immediately called for locates. He and his crew were on site Tuesday morning and despite the rain, getting to work straight away. Found and fixed the broken main and did a great job cleaning up. They even saved our garden plants. The crew were hard working, conscientious gentlemen. Really great, hardworking guys. Highly recommend Water Guard! Excellent service. AAA+

Contacted them off Kijiji, answered right away very polite and professional. I had been struggling all week to find a reliable and professional plumber to come install new washing machines I had bought for my mom and didn't have the time or tools to do so. Water Guard plumbing was able to come in that same day!! They arrived actually early which was a pleasant surprise living downtown and were very friendly and knowledgeable as they went above and beyond for my mom helping push the heavy units into the closet and showing her the basics of the machine which I thought was very nice! We had problem with old clay drain installed about 50 - 80 years back. WaterGuard guys have worked hard and replaced all pipes and connectors very fast and efficient. In term of cost - they are very reasonable. No mess, work and surrounding area left clean. Highly recommended, professional team.
