Kingstar is terrible, Specifically Angelo. I asked to have my driveway done in September 2015. I was very accommodating to his schedule despite not being given any solid dates to when he would re-asphalt my driveway. Within a year the driveway already started to crack, I sent an email and he assured me that he'd come by to fix it. I patiently waited 3 weeks and didn't get a response. I followed up with him several times and he ignored all my emails. In my emails I was respectful and simply asked when he might have the time to show up and make the repairs. I've emailed him 3 times with no response. I am very disappointed with the quality of the work and more specifically the consumer service as well as the integrity. Maybe I'll change my review if he ever gets back to me...

Update: In early October I contacted King Star directly based on the feedback from my review and spoke with Mary. We had a conversation about the service that was provided and the guarantee to repair any cracks within a year. She informed me that they were a family run business and was very surprised by the lack of customer service I received. She mentioned that it isn't uncommon for these things to happen due to a variety of factors and assured me that they would send someone to have a look and make the necessary repairs. Its been over a month and still nothing has been done and no one has reached out to me in regards to repairing the damage. Still very surprised and very disappointed...

**Second Update June 14, 2017: King Star sent out a written letter to all customers that had issues with their driveway and promised to repair any damages back in the December of 2016. Spring 2017 King Star left a business card at my door. So I called them back to ask about the repairs they promised and they claimed that they fixed the cracks but they did not.. and instead checked me off as 'repaired'. I told them no work was done because my car was parked over the damaged area so there was no way they could have fixed it. They claimed that someone would come back to have a look but no one did. If had I known they were going to come by I would have removed any obstructions from the driveway in order to allow them to fix the issues. They've left me very very disappointed in the care they give to their customers.
