Paving Contractors review in Oakville

I am changing this review as Angelo called me and he has not been getting the messages I left ; he will stop by and patch the driveway cut we had to do for the culvert. Looks like it was a misunderstanding and missed communication. They did a great job paving the driveway so I want to be fair to them and give them credit for the good work. I look forward to having the cut patched and completing the job.

Sir, after speaking to Angelo about your situation I understand that you were unaware that a culvert even existed, the driveway as you mentioned was excavated for 2 months and nothing was done..... We're sorry that the fresh driveway had to be cut but it at any point was not our fault and I understand you have been in contact with Angelo about the situation and he has been waiting for you to call him once the culvert was repaired. Please understand when you don't provide the entire situation with 100% truth it can effect our reputation... Give Angelo a call and he will be more than happy to assist you in this matter. After long delays in scheduling my job (2 month in waiting) Angelo was finally able to squeeze me in for a Friday morning but cause it was a rushed service they covered the storm pipe (culvert) at my drive way entrance; so the city inspector asked us to cut the driveway and get a new culvert in; I did contact King Star for this issue but basically they washed their hands of the problem and said it will costly me a lot to fix it if they have done; I got another contractor and cut the driveway across and placed new culvert now I contacted King Star (Angelo) again to see if he can just come over and patch the cut (2 ft/20 ft) and I would even pay for that but they are not returning my calls as it is too small of a job now for them to do even if it was their oversight and missing the culvert from the beginning which cost me redoing half the job. This attitude and approach does not create a repeat customer and definitely I will not be.
