We had our driveway and carport paved in the summer of 2015. A few months later, there were patches in the driveway that were crumbling, and the solid black became speckled with white. When I contacted the office, I was told that the white specks were ‘the nature of the product’ and I should have been told when we ordered it that would happen. Apparently the white walls from the tires that are used do not retain the black colour for very long. Wish I had known that when we made the decision! To solve the crumbling problem, we were told that sealing the driveway would solve that, so they came out this summer (July, 2016) and sealed it. The sealing left large brown marks all over the driveway - it looks as if a roller with the wrong colour was used. The driveway is the largest visible feature of our house from the street and it looks terrible. I was told this was the ‘nature of the product’ and it would fade in a few weeks. A month later I called and said it has not faded and was told it could take a few months. I requested someone to come and see it. The worker who came was very professional and agreed there was a problem and that re-sealing with a darker colour should solve it. After waiting again and hearing nothing, I called the office and was told again that “it is the nature of the product - and a process called ‘ambering’ is normal and will eventually fade. I requested that the worker who came and the person I spoke with on the phone come together and look at it, so we get consistent information. I was told this would happen right away. Two weeks later, I am still waiting. Very frustrating and I would not recommmend this product or this company at this time.
