Hired Dan to repair our chimney and it now looks like a ridiculous yellow children's art project. He re-enforced our old chimney, but did a terrible job by making it look as though a child slapped a bunch of clay around it. The chimney now looks lumpy and curvy rather than having any sharp edges and corners - as it should. He also showed up when we were not home to paint the chimney and decided that yellow would be best?! We wanted it to be charcoal coloured to match other elements of our home and to blend in a bit more.
Dan also regraded our driveway to allow easier access in the winter and also to avoid our work truck & trailer from scraping when backing in. Dan ripped up the old driveway, mixed that into the dirt and spread it out while trying to level out the driveway. It's even worse now and on top of the difficulty in trying to get into the driveway, we are now the proud owners of a mud put. Definitely do not recommend.

Paid upfront for a 15 yard bin services at unlimited weight. Owner operator and driver waited a week to remove it and dumped its full contents on the driveway. Damaged the new driveway, drainage basin and car. Over 5k in damages. TPS investigation this matter. No call backs, texts, emails or anything!

Came to see my driveway, said will call me with a quote in 2 days, now over 2 weeks. and Did not call. That makes me feel that the company is unreliable

We hired them to complete a fence project ( Arron ). They ended up having the most ignorant young man ( rob )who continued to argue with us and raise his voice at us come to do the job . In a car at that . None of the posts are in line . 2x4 all cut to short and fastened with minimal screws some spots just one . Boards are all off level . We now have a fence that looks worse than the one we had replaced . Would never recommend them to anyone . Worst experince ever

My name is Edgar Lewis. We were thrilled to work with Dan and his team of professionals once again, having used Kapa Contracting for mutliple interior projects over several years. Dan is both a great listener and communicator. Dan envisions what the customer is after through various meetings, and sees it through to successful completion. In our case, it was extra successful completion. From drawing up the plans, to implementation, to fine tuning/making adjustments, to ensuring the customer is thrilled with the project undertaken. This is what Kapa does really well. Kapa isn't a landscape-specific co.. That being said, they really know how to create an eye-popping landscape project and execute really well, among other things. They even fixed areas in the rear yard that a previous landscape co. did erroneously a few years ago. Cannot say enough about these guys in all honesty. If you are considering a major project in and around your home, Dan and his team are the real deal. Give them a call and an opportunity to knock your socks off with their expertise and workmanship. It was a pleasure to work with them once again as a whole.

I had a sagging roof that needed new supports and then reshingling. It was a daunting task choosing a contractor while having little knowledge of roof construction. Kapa contracting made the choice easier. Dan was extremely knowledgable and took the time to explain the project. The work environment in the attic was extremely hot and crowded but the whole team were always professional and hardworking. They always cleaned up at the end of the day and were great a communicating the progress. The work was excellent.
I look forward to future projects.

We had Kapa Contracting finish our Basement and Laundry area last month and could not be any happier! We had received several quotes and met with 7 different contractors about our project before meeting with Dan at Kapa Contracting.

My wife and I were extremely satisfied with every aspect of the renovation. Dan and his team were very professional, stayed within and worked with our budget, they were very perceptive with our vision and always offered their expertise to optimize the living space and to stretch the dollar as far as it can go. His construction knowledge was excellent and he was able to facilitate our ESA electrical inspection with ease and was always able to answer any questions we had.

Another very important aspect was that they were very aware and mindful of our two indoor cats. They always kept the exterior doors shut and made us aware of any situations where we would need to keep them temporarily in a room. Dan and his team were very honest and constantly kept open communication of their whereabouts and always showed up when they said they would! This open communication with us became a key factor and clearly made our decision to use Kapa Contracting the right one.

They were on time, Worked with our budget, had excellent construction knowledge, always kept open communication and are overall honest and great people to deal with. We would strongly recommend Kapa Contracting to anyone looking for quality service!
