Bill is the fourth dude I called, and the only one able to provide a solution to my broken indoor gas fireplace. Other larger companies said it was unfixable, "you need a new fireplace" or "you'll have to do some non-legal rebuild, we can't help you". Numbers thrown around varied from $4000 to $10,000 with tiles being pulled, renovations threatened.

The current fireplace is from a now defunct indoor fireplace company, thanks to the junk computerized gas valves they put in them (can't mention it on this site for some reason). If you have one of these, or a similar issue, give Bill Luke a call, he'll sort you out for $1100 and get a conversion done for ya. This included new remote system, wiring harness, gas control valve, pilot setup. The conversion setup works differently, but is more reliable. Bill also included a full and thorough cleaning of the entire fireplace, paint touch up on faded or flaking paint areas. The thing looks brand new again, works great. The conversion is fully guaranteed parts and labor 1 year and does not fall under modification (because all the internal gas control and pilot parts are replaced with one of the original three parts manufacturers of this particular fireplace). And bonus is it won't fail again. Fully satisfied and happy customer here. Totally professional. Need more dudes like him.
