we had tired old washroom which Carey updated. We had good communication for the questions and changes that occurred along the way and my wife and I are happy with the results.

Carey repaired the front stairs, railing on the back porch as well as rotten wood around the house. He did a great job for us at a reasonable price. Carey designed and built an amazing two level deck, made of cedar on one level and vinyl on the other. This also included an extensive interlocking brick path and additional deck area. His design style and execution was excellent. Communication on the design and any process steps was great. He spends the time on fine details and would adjust as needed. Friendly and timely service. Strongly recommended.

Replaced some rotten posts and moldy deck sheets, built new front stairs and prepped and finished up after Vinyl installers did their work. Toolbox Coordinated with the vinyl people. First company took 4 weeks longer than we were told so Toolbox found a subcontractor to replace them. Work was good.

We called Toolbox Renovations to help us to create a functional kitchen in a small space in the suite in our new house in Saanich, BC. Carey Derksen came in and advised us on what we could do with the space, for which we were very grateful, then executed the work. We are very pleased with both the experience and the results. Great job. Very solid and has lots of room for entertaining. Steven was very accommodating with our preferences, and was up to all the challenges during the build. Workmanship is very professional.
