We wanted to renovate our patio and were very fortunate to have an acquaintance refer Manny at Viper Home Services to us. The existing patio was small and constructed of old concrete pavers. We wanted to enlarge the overall patio considerably and construct it with a beautiful stone product. This involved removal and disposal of the existing patio, thorough preparation of the base layer and then installation of the new stone. Every step of the way, Manny and his team were thoughtful, considerate and respectful to us, our neighbors and the property itself. The care and attention to every detail was outstanding and the work was done in an efficient and timely manner. I would recommend Viper Home Services highly and without any hesitation. I hired Viper home services to build a walk out and enlarge our basement windows.
The entire experience from quote to finish was outstanding. Manny and his crew are very pleasant to work with, they take the time to explain the different stages of the project so you know what to expect. We did ran into some challenges with the soil around the walkout area. Manny could not have predicted that when he quoted in the job. He handled the challenges by building supporting walls and bringing heavy machinery. Talk about going the extra mile. Highly recommended business.

With all the horror stories of underpinning in the Junction of homes tipping over I knew I needed a skilled company to do this. Manny was extremely professional, knowledgeable and ON SCHEDULE! I got got 4 quotes and Viper's was right in the middle. I know you get what you pay for so I did not want to go with my lowest quote. I am very happy with Viper and would gladly use them on my next renovation project or refer him to my clients.

Viper installed the forms for the new slab.
After the pour they did a great job levelling and finishing the concrete.
They also did a good job with the relief cuts and the ramp from the slab to lane.
They left the site clean and organized everyday.

We learned that the Ontario Government was offering incentives to install a backwater valve and sump pump in basements to help prevent water damage. We decided to take advantage of the financial assistance and have the work done. When we removed the furniture from the room where the pump and valve would be installed, we noticed that there was a lot of water leakage in the room. Not knowing where to go to find a contractor to do the work, we went on the internet and through Home Stars found Viper Home Services as well as another contractor. Both were very quick to come, make an assessment and provide a quote - the quotes being close in terms of price. We awarded the business to Viper and to Manny because he was the more knowledgeable of the two contractors. He explained why there was water damage, where it was coming from and what needed to be done to fix it. He knew what he was doing. He started right away and unlike other contractors we have dealt with, he and his crew arrived every day until the work was done. The project ended up being much bigger than expected because as Manny and his crew started to dig, we uncovered unexpected problems. Again, Manny took the time to explain all the options and all the costs. As the project progressed, we added to the scope of the project and had them do peripheral work which was done expertly and professionally. After Manny and his team had left and the job was completed, we discovered a plumbing problem for which we needed help quickly. I phone Manny in the evening, and the next morning, Carlos the plumber was there to do this extra work that we needed done. My husband and I highly recommend Manny, Carlos and his crew to anyone who needs this type of work done. Not only were they courteous, patient in taking the time to explain every aspect of the project, flexible in taking on the extra work we asked that was out of scope of the original project and doing it quickly and efficiently, they were very cost effective and timely. It was a pleasure working with them on this project.

At the beginning at July I hired Viper to build a window well and install a backwater valve on the main drain outside of the house. Manny provided me with a quote promptly and always answered my phone calls and email messages. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. His team, leaded by Carlos, did an excellent job delivering the project in three days only, taking care of building permit and City’s inspection. I highly recommend Manny and his crew.
