Contractor Showed up on agreed day, Material Partially delivered.
When joists were going in, I noticed some shortcuts being made to save time, jeopardizing the structure of the deck. when making a remark about it, contractor took note and fixed.
Asked contractor to hold off work for one day having to go to work, and having to supervise the work after seeing shortcuts being made.
Contractor called after 3 days and informed me he's not going to finish the job.
Contractor blocked our phone numbers, not taking calls anymore,.
Contractor did not provide invoices for material, with breakdown of labor cost.
Contractor called back and said he's not going to finish the job. and hung up. and immediately blocked my other number

We do respect your comments. However it is really unfair to us because the review is not honest.
There is absolutely no jeopardizing the structure of the deck. We changed it in your way as you would not let us do the next step if we don't do so.
During the work, you never follow the contract and keep changing the design . For example, add two more big steps, change size of the deck after we finished the framing, cancel the pergola after material delivered...
You require to supervise the work all the time, and we are only allowed to work on your days off. which means we need to stop if you are not at home, and this made us lost revenue.
We explained to you the reason why we could not continue the job, provided all the invoices of the material and breakdown of labour cost as you required. Also, we did get back to you by phone and email.
We always try our best to satisfy our customers because we believe that is the key of our success. Unfortunately, in this situation, we could not accommodate all your requirements.
