We put up with an annoying carpet hump at the bottom of our basement stairs for a couple years. How did it get there? Why us? Finally deciding to deal with our plight, we decided to deal with the issue and looked up carpet stretching and emailed a couple places. The reply from the guys at Calgary Carpet Restretch just seemed to instill confidence. A week later Ryan arrived with a bunch of equipment that I had no idea existed. He explained the issues, and spent a few hours working magic, to restore the carpet. He has added years to the life of the carpet in the basement, increasing our enjoyment and saving us money.
