I don't think that they truly understood what we wanted done..Lines weren't cut straight... We wanted the face to be smooth...parging was applied...cracks...poor customer service... Asked Kyle to come over several times he never showed... We asked for square boxes to be framed out so that we could access the septic tanks... It was just a disaster... At first Kyle was friendly... But he wants to charge us to rectify his mistakes... This is wrong...

We had our front porch work completed May 31, 2017. The work completed was in a timely fashion and surpassed our expectations. In 2019 we had some warranty issues which were quickly remedied by a cheerful technician named Travis. Throughout my dealing with the three Megla-con representatives (Kyle, Spencer & Travis) I found them to be 2nd to none for their customer relationship skills, they were friendly and pleasant at all times. What really impressed me, was how they stood behind their workmanship, which was evident in the way they handled my warranty concerns.

Kyle and Spencer did a excellent job in our backyard in 2018. The job was done on time and looks awesome. Any concerns we had Kyle (owner) made sure to work it out. The stamped concrete job turned our backyard into a oasis, it feels like we are on a resort on vacation when we are enjoying our backyard. I would strongly recommend Meglacon for concrete work.

We contacted Meglacon to get a quote for installing a stamped concrete floor in our small front enclosed vestibule. Kyle showed up to give us a quote when he said he would at 8 a.m. on the promised day, and was very helpful in making suggestions on what would be required to raise our vestibule floor to meet the building code. Kyle’s quote was very detailed which made it easy for us to see what products they were using and what tasks needed to be done to complete the job. He also was very helpful in suggesting a colour with the pattern for the floor. We absolutely love the way the floor turned out, and the colour and pattern is perfect for our small vestibule. Kyle and Danny completed the job on time and on budget. They also did extra things that were not included in our quote. I would strongly recommend Kyle to anyone looking for: quality workmanship, punctuality, staying on budget, and working hard to please his customers.

We originally got 3 quotes, and Meglacon came in the middle. We needed a pad poured under an elevated deck, plus it needed to be strong enough for a hot tub. The work was actually done in June 2016, but I wanted to let it settle to see if it cracked. I'm very pleased with the result a year and a half later. The entire job was about 550 square feet, and to this day, it looks consistent, and without a crack. I forget if the job took 3 days or four, but they showed up and cleaned up when scheduled. I've read some recent reviews, and I'm guessing they had better weather last spring. Honestly, it's my first experience hiring a concrete contractor, but I give them a 10 out of 10. We are thinking of a bigger job in 2018, and, as long as they're price remains competitive, they'll get the work.

Concrete worked once completed very good, however the timing, lack of communication internally within leaves allot to be desired. Workers showed one morning to start job, but we sent them packing as we didn't know if grading and step would work, as it had not been communicated to us. After a 2nd site visit by Kyle (Owner) we got everything sorted out. We had this work done will away only to come home and see our old concrete step dumped and left on lawn, plus chunks of poured concrete left on grass. Reached out to Kyle about the sloppy clean-up he was there with 2 hrs and dealt with it. Perception is everything to us. Would have loved to give a 5 rating , but just cant based on what transpired.

We had them do the front walkway. They had measured it out, although, once it was done apparently Kyle had shortened up the size of the job! Right up front was a large area that didn't take to the colour they put down. Absolutely an eye sore!! We were told that it would be fixed. It wasn't! They killed my lawn by leaving a tarp with a pile of concrete on it. The side of my house was discoloured so I had to repartch. My driveway is discoloured aswell. We were told that they'd be back to pressure wash. No! They got their money and never kept any promise. We had left many messages and never got a call back! I've talked to others around my area with similar complaints!

We decided to go with MeglaCon after shopping around with other companies mainly due to their responsiveness and friendly attitude. They did not provide the cheapest quote, however they seemed more professional than other companies we contacted. We were originally told that the walkway would be completed in about a week, however it took over a month for the job to be completed. This was not their fault as the weather played a role in the delays, which was understandable. We ended up having to replace our neighbors sod as it got damaged and fixing landscaping is not covered by the company in the contract. There are a few uneven lines and spots where the color is off, but it seems I am the only one who notices it and we do get many compliments on the walkway.

Unorganized company. You have to keep on them to move the job along. Make sure you pay attention how much they take from your credit card. They took more then they were supposed to. Also they left concrete on my my paved part of.the driveway and promised They would get a paving company out to help with the cost. Have not heard back. The end result was fine for the stamped concrete. You just have to be a foreman.
