Mudding and taping/new knockdown ceiling
All I can say is WOW! We were doing a pretty major home renovation for my mother's house. We were looking for someone who could mud and tape as well as match the texture for the ceiling in the house.
We got quotes from a few companies that had high ratings on Home Stars. One contractor left us feeling wary - as he indicated that he had two different standards of work for mudding and taping. In the end, we decided to go with Jamie. The thing that really stood out about Jamie was his confidence in performing the work.
Additionally, Jamie takes a lot of pride in his work, and that was evident from our initial meeting with him straight through to the finished product. Not only is he confident and proud of his work, but he's just a really nice guy!
After getting an initial quote from Jamie, we decided that if we needed to match the ceiling texture, we might as well go for a knockdown ceiling (as the original ceiling was an uninspiring popcorn). The knockdown that Jamie did is nothing short of amazing. Everyone who has seen it since it was done comments about how amazing it is - and we definitely agree! Everything was done so well, and we are very impressed with the services Jamie has provided. We are having him paint the entire interior of our house next week, and we are certain we will be just as impressed. I would recommend Jamie to anyone in need of drywall work/new ceiling texture! You won't regret it!
