The contractor had two guys working for him. The three of them installed flagstone on our front porch and stairs and created a patio and path in front of and on the side of the house using high end large interlock of our choice. The job was done within 3 weeks. We were overall satisfied with the quality of stone and work, except for a few small imperfections, which he agreed to fix. The workers didn't show up to work during a long holiday weekend without letting us know, even though they promised to work that weekend. But other than that they were punctual and worked hard for long hours. The main guy, Dimitri, was polite and honest throughout the project until the very end when he got angry about one small issue. He left some industrial waste in front of our driveway and did not pick it up on his last day of work so we told him we will pay the last $300 of the $14,000 project after he dumps that waste. He got angry and was rude to us as a result, to our surprise, since we had been on very friendly terms for 3 weeks. He still picked up the waste the next day and got his remaining $300 but we refused to recommend him to our friends and family due to his attitude in the end. Their price was better than 5 other contractors who gave us an estimate for the work, and Dimitri did come across as well experienced in patio stone installation.
