Sean from Thomson Doors, was called and arrived within. 2 hours. Was absolutely great, repaired quickly, gave me great advice, and was very friendly with a reasonable price. Will use him in the future, and would definitely recommend.

When the torsion spring broke on our garage door, we didn't know who to call, the last repair company we used left a very bad taste. So after reading reviews and checking BBB etc. we called Thomson Doors - We were NOT disappointed. They came the same day - on time, the installer knew what he was doing, had the parts and tools with him that were needed and explained the service. Their prices were very reasonable. The installer also checked all parts in relation to the door before leaving, did not try to upsell. I would highly recommend Thomson Doors.

Having never had to call a garage door repair company before, I just wasn't sure who to call when the spring and cables went on our garage door recently. I took a look at a few of the company reviews on Homestars and decided to go on a hunch and take a chance on Thomson Doors.

I called at 0700 in the morning to make an appointment, not expecting that I'd get anyone so early. I did have to leave a message, but then again it was 0700 in the morning! Less than 15 minutes later, however, I had a call back from Shaun. He was polite and professional, gave me an estimate and booked me in for the afternoon with an estimated arrival time between 1400 and 1600.

Shaun arrived when he said he would, took a look at the problem and told me what it would cost to fix. Once I agreed to the work, he went right at it. Twenty minutes later the job was complete. We inspected the work together and then Shaun gave me a few maintenance tips to keep the door in good order.

All in all, a great service call experience! Polite, professional, knowledgeable, reasonably-priced, fast and efficient — what more could you ask for in a service company? I'm glad I decided to take a chance on Thomson Doors.

Thomson doors promptly got back to me and set up an appointment for the next day. They arrived within the 2 hour window they gave me. They initially thought I might need a new door sensor as well, but after inspecting it said that it was not needed. They didn't try to upsell on anything and were efficient and friendly (and reasonably priced!). I would definitely call them back if I had any new issues crop up with my garage door.

I called so many door companies this morning and left many voice messages and thomson doors was one of them. Surprisingly - they returned my call! (The only ones too) And on top of that could make it out for me same day which I needed. They came within the two hour time frame I was given and had it fixed for me in 20 minutes - very pleased with all aspects of the service - including price! Thanks so much!

love this little company that doesnt advertise but mostly word of mouth. One cold winter our garage door would only close halfway..calked thomson and Jesse came..very young but fixed it expertly.. I had used them before so knew who to call that i can rely on to cone. Love, love this comoany.!!!.hope jesse is still working there...he is an asset!

I had a bad experience with another garage door company who I won't name here but let's just say they were not nice. I was referred to Thomson Doors by a friend and was very pleased with their service. I found the service man to be very helpful and their prices were definitely reasonable. Recommended !

our garage door is over 30 yrs okd and coupke of times it has been stuck in middle of either closing or opening. once it happened in the dead of winter and it was so cold! anyway Thomson doors is a small business and was recommended by my neighbor. and heard they get their main business through word of mouth. The young man was courteous, efficient and honest and when i asked if it was time to purchase new door he said this door has a couple of more good yrs left.. i found that refreshing as Thomson doors also install doors and coukd easiky have said my door was shot to hell and need new one. anyway they do their best to cone asap as well.
