Jafar is a real throw back to a man who does an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. What he's says he does and is on time, on budget and a man of his word. I highly recommend this company and their owner Jafar and I'm not related in any way as you might think from the glowing recommendation. This guy deserves it!

Jafar was really quick and reliable. He kept in touch and suggested different choices. They did a good job and cleaned up well after. Totally happy and we would recommend them.

Jafar and his crew are definitely worthy of the 10/10 rating. He was clear, patiently answered all of questions, concerns about the install, scheduled an install on 2 days notice and was by far the best price out of all 4 Contractors we quoted.

He spent a 10 hour day installing, masterfully installed a complex condensation set up (we have a balcony, Jafar and his crew tactfully installed the vent along the beam of the Balcony). He had to cut a portion of the drywall from the room, but skillfully cut it in a perfect square and screwed it back on. Even tested all of the vents to be sure it was working properly and replaced the old filter.

He didn't try to upsell me, gave a great deal, updated me throughout the day and even swept up after he left. We asked for Permits and made the mistake of telling him to go to the district of North Van, when it was City of North Van and Jafar just laughed it off and didn't give us a hard time about it. After reviewing a number of companies, I selected Best Way to service my gas fireplace. Jafar was great, he was on-time, careful, and was very meticulous in ensuring the fireplace was safe, working, and clean. I would recommend him and other services offered from Best Way Heating.

Jafar, the proprietor at Best Way Heating, is an amazing fellow. This is my third review of his business. This seems odd, even to me, so I want to make it clear that I am not affiliated with him or Best Way Heating in anyway except as a very satisfied customer. I had asked Jafar to attend my house for a furnace issue. He came the next day and immediately discovered it was simply the fan switch had been accidently thrown to operate in continuous mode; a simple flick of the switch fixed the issue. He also noticed that the induction fan ran for quite a long time before the ignitor came on so he cleaned a vacuum hose attachment tube, which solved this issue immediately. As I tried to pay Jafar for the callout he told me it wasn’t necessary, and absolutely refused to let me pay him for his time. What makes this all the more incredible is that it turns out that Jafar had been to my house a little earlier that day, before I was home, hoping that he could make the appt early. When he found out I wasn’t there he had the unfortunate luck to damage a very easily damaged portion of our strata building as he backed out (happens all the time). He put his company sticker on the damage and informed me he would be paying for the repair. When the quote for the repair came in, he refused my offer to pay half of the repair costs (as I felt responsible for calling him out unnecessarily and not paying him for his time.) Please call Jafar for all your HVAC/hot water needs. You will not be sorry.

I have an old 1960s furnace that would sporadically cycle through its settings until it stopped working. I had two previous contractors look into it who both made no effort in resolving the problem and just tried to convince me to buy a new furnace. I know it is not "efficient", but I didn't want to spend 3X the cost of replacing it given the savings wouldn't offset the expense. I called Jafar in the morning and he came by late afternoon the same day. He took the time and proper steps to diagnose the problem and it came down to a dead motor, torn belt, leaking gas valve and improper limit switch setting. He was able to source a used, but fairly new motor and completed the install in a timely fashion. A week later, he came back to replace the leaking gas valve, adjusted the motor speed and limit switch settings. Afterwards, he took the time to explain what he had done and provided tips to help maintain my old furnace. I will definitely call Jafar again when it comes time to doing a full furnace replace. I fully recommend his services to anyone who is in need of a heating contractor.

The reviews are true. Jafar does excellent work. He's thorough, meticulous and very professional. The fireplace looks amazing and running very well after the work done today. I would highly recommend Jafar to others who need gas fireplace repair or regular maintenance. I will refer him to others in our condo.

Jafar is awesome! We hired him months ago to do our furnace inspection after reading all the positive reviews online, & checking his BBB standing & certifications. We found him very thorough, personable, professional, & reasonable priced. He talked us through everything, gave some great advice, & we decided then we'd definitely continue to use him for our inspections. Fast forward months later. Today we smelled gas. Fortis came & didn't detect a problem but were not helpful at all. We called Jafar at 4:30. He was in North Van but said he could be here in an hour (we live in Port Moody & it was close to rush hour). He arrived at about 5:00, stayed for an hour thoroughly checking every possible cause of the smell. He even went with us to ask some neighbours if they'd smelled anything or been doing any work to cause the smell. Best of all...no charge!!
