Merlin Interior Finishing No Longer In Business

I am ecstatic with the finished results of my new basement income suite. Although my basement was finished I wanted to create a private income suite. I called Bart and Alan from Merlin Interior Finishing. We talked about what I wanted, they listened! As a single female homeowner, who has dealt with many contractors in the past it was a breath of fresh air to be listened to and taken seriously. Bart and Alan drew up the plans after our initial conversation, coming up with ideas that had never dawned on me on how to use the space. Once the design and estimate were agreed upon, they went to work. They were clean and efficient, taking the time to explain the process to me, keeping me informed throughout the entire project. The end results are magnificent. A private income suite, built entirely to building code, beautiful finishing, complete with kitchenette. Added bonus is that it was completed on time and on budget. Finished interior of cabin 9 x 12 ft including: insulation, installed pine floors, walls, ceiling, baseboards, windows and door trim. Applied 2 coats verathane on floor. Alan and Bart were helpful in creating design, meticulous in workmanship and keeping site clean after work days. They were on time, completed project within agreed upon time frame and pleasant to deal with.

I hired Merlin Construction after our basement suffered water damage from flooding. Bart called us back when no one else did, came to see the job and gave us a quote within days. The damaged areas were repaired, matching the rest of the rooms in just over a week and we were able to use the basement once again. Thank you so much Merlin.
