Lane Carpentry & Renovation

I have to be honest, Adam did two major projects for me and did absolutely outstanding work. His people are hardworking, skilled and very professional. At all times I felt comfortable with them in our home, and they continually modified the project scope as we came up with new and exciting changes on the fly. We added a built in around our TV which was unplanned, removed walls, and made our space more open concept. He was open to any and all changes we needed and could not possibly have been more helpful. Not only would I recommend him he is my contractor of choice.

I have a Halloween scare story to share… I own a property with a severe water damaged balcony. On Sep 12 Adam sent me an estimate and contract on the repair. On the estimate he said it will take 2-7 days. I agreed on the estimate and signed the contract. Paid him his deposit. Today is October 31, six weeks later he only worked on my balcony for a few days. The work is half finished sitting on the open, exposed to rain etc. He completely ignores my emails, texts, phone messages, he does not answer his phone. This is a total unprofessional behaviour and he is completely unreliable and unbelievable. I suggest never use him. If you value your sanity find somebody else to do the work

Update: After I posted this to Facebook page, he immediately called me, made excuses after excuses and promised to come finish the job next week at the latest. And promptly deleted my post. As usual he never showed again never responding to messages. Now Nov 10, I am considering legal action, after all he signed a contract, promised 2-7 days and now almost 2 months. Again never, ever use him, he is not reliable at all

I hired the guy Adam for load bearing wall removal. At the end of the work he didn't take out the renovation garbage. He left the garbage outside of the building and promised he will come in the next day to pick up but didn't show up at all. I tried calling him several times but he neither picked up phone nor replied my message. I trusted him and paid full amount for the work. I even helped him to move garbage from inside to outside. I am very disappointed with his attitude. He also didn't do the work good. Don't trust and hire this guy at all.

i was referred to lane carpentry and renovation by a neighbour, he had the trim work in his house replaced and was thrilled by the results.
i contacted adam lane of lane carpentry and renovation about my unfinished basement. It was in very rough shape and i was looking for a higher end renovation. I had several quotes and adams stood out, his quote was very detailed and very fair. Wasn't the highest or the lowest by any means. I had the "you get what you pay for" mentality. To make a long story short adam and his crew came in and give me the basement i dreamed of despite the fight my house and old leaky foundation threw at him.

There were several unexpected things in my basement, some out dated electrical as well as problems with my old foundation walls. adam then brought me down and showed me what was wrong and gave me several options to fix it. without his explanations i would not be able to sleep at night.

despite these unexpected things, and my tight budget, adams quote did not change a penny. there was always an option. truly a contractor you can trust. his quality and workmanship is second to none and i have had many other contractors in my home. adam and his crew actually care about the final product, they come early and stay late.

they are the only contractors i will use or recommend.

Adam has completed a variety of projects for me and his work has always been top notch. He's dependable, honest and takes pride in the finished product he delivers. I would certainly recommend him.

My husband and I called Adam in when our bathroom renovation project was halted due to faulty plumbing issues. He promptly came in and assessed the issue, fixing not only the faulty plumbing, but upgrading it to ensure that it functioned with the vanity that I had chosen. He was professional and completed the renovation in one day, without a mess... a god send! Both my husband and I were impressed when he called a few days later to check up on how we were enjoying our newly renovated bathroom, a call that we greatly appreciated.
