Rip off with appliance repair guys. Hood motor noise from the exhaust , So I called the customer service of Appliance Repair guys. They told me 80 $ to get to your place and diagnose and figure out the issue. The tech guys came in and told me to service 260 (waive 80 ) off , will be able to fix the issue. Not sure if this guy know abt the appliance. , He opened the hood and found out nothing could be serviced, because of inbuilt motor.
He put everything back and told me , we have to replace one of the motor (will figure out after seeing the diagram) . All seperate Installation and parts cost etc.
Asked him, why iam i paying high price (295) for not doing any service , when we agreed for 80 for diagnose, he is like I opened the hood and figured out the motor was faulty, the service charge is 260+ tax.
I called the customer service , she is like- for the technician to get to your house it is 80, anything above that is the 260 charge. which was not told before, i would have rejected the service.
She is like supporting the price, this is how we charge.
After 295 , the hood makes the same noise and not fixed, the verdict - change the motor-- the outcome i knew even before without paying the money.
So disappointing. I didn't read the reviews for the company before, however, how can a company be so un entical in their services.
Very unsatisfactory. Customer service not clear on what is expected.

- Be reasonable in diagnosing issue rates. Donot blur the line between diagnosing and servicing.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Call different companies and ask the price and clear out any questions and refuse to pay big fees fo not fixing the issue.
