I hired a driver to drive the truck I had rent but the driver did not show up on time so I had to cancel the service because I could not wait. I also hired 2 helpers who went to the wrong place and got to my place 45 minutes late. So all the move was rushed because of the time with the elevator reservation. The next day... again... they went to the wrong place even though both days they had the correct address with them. This time they were late an hour and half which made me and my husband do a good part of the unload ourselves because we were going on trip and could not be late for our bus, aside of course from the fact that we had a 2 hours elevator reservation, had to return the truck (had to pay fees for the delay), and rush everything one more time. The guys were nice but that is not enough. It needs a little more than just being nice. This company needs a lot of organization and employees with a minimum of brain to be able to go to the right place at the time they were supposed to. Move is always stressful but with Porter is double the stress. Oh! and yes, Steve's phone does not work. Kristen was nice when I spoke with her but not helpful at all. Again.. it is not enough being nice. You guys need more competency.
