First off, I read the reviews for Calgary movers after hiring them. If I would have read them before I probably wouldn't have called. With that being said, I'm glad that I did not see the reviews until it was too late. My moving experience with Calgary movers was great. The crew showed up 30 minutes early, and had everything finished in 3 and 1/2 hours. No problems what-so-ever. I wanted to address some of the comments made below: The crew is not rude. They are hard working. If they aren't overly friendly or talkative it is because they are lifting and moving all the things you didn't want to do yourself. I did not have a long distance move, so maybe that is why I had a very different experience than others who have posted before me. I cannot give an endorsement for a long distance move b/c that might work very differently. All I know is that Calgary movers quoted me the LOWEST (by hundreds of dollars) out of any moving company in the area. They were polite and efficient. There was not any damage to my property or any items. I would use them again in a heartbeat. And just as a tip for moving, if you are going to get upset when someone breaks something or damages something, then move it yourself. Possibly the reason I had such a wonderful experience w/ Calgary movers is because I packed/moved all that I could on my own. I wasn't relying on them to do EVERYTHING for me.
