I was having issues with my washing machine about a year ago and called City Appliance to have it fixed and was incredibly happy with the service so I decided to call them again for my dryer that just broke down recently and again I could not be happier!!! Both my dryer and washer work perfectly fine now! The were very easy to deal with, prompt and efficient! Definitely recommend City Appliance for any issues with appliances! Excellent service!!!

We called City Appliance after looking at multiple reviews online to come and fix our washing machine which was not filling with water. The man who came was on time and nice enough. After replacing our hoses, he said he was done and left. The visit was nothing out of the ordinary.
After using our washing machine (which is on the second floor) a handful of times, we noticed water spots on our ceiling below the washing machine and down the wall. When we pulled the washing machine out, we found water underneath it and noted the only leak was water coming from the hose where it attached to the machine. The new hoses were installed by City Appliance.
On investigation, they overtightened the hose which caused a water leak.
When my husband called City Appliance, he spoke with Sagoo, the manager. He wanted to let the company know about the mistake that was made and the damage that ensued. Sagoo then told my husband that this company takes no responsibility for any damage that occurs after their services have been provided. He was not sorry about the damage and offered no solution. I then called and spoke with Sagoo who again reiterated that he takes no responsibility for any damage from the work that his company does. He was very clear that their work is not guaranteed and that it is not in any way their problem despite the water coming from the exact place that they worked. No compensation or apology was offered. Sagoo was very unprofessional on the phone and hung up on me.
My husband and I are now paying to repair our wall, including: insulation, drywall, taping, mudding and hiring professional painters all because of a mistake made by this company. We have spent about $2000 to fix the damage caused by their appliance repair. We have not only incurred the full cost to repair the damage City Appliance caused, but we have also lived with the inconvenience of our kitchen being subject to repairs.
It was very difficult to deal with this company and their work is not done right. They do not take any responsibility for their work and will not compensate if damage occurs. Overall, terrible experience and I will not recommend them to anyone. We are very sorry we contacted this company at all.

Sagoo has been my go to appliance guy for years! I haven't needed any repliance repairs for such a long time, that I thought I would see what else was out there. I googled reviews for appliance repair in Edmonton. A link showed up for $69.00 for the service call. Well, that should have been my first clue, but they had a great looking website, so I thought I would try them. Long story short, I ended up calling Sagoo and so happy that I did. Sagoo is very professional, very clean, explains things to me so I understand, and is very patient. He is a breath of fresh air for quality in a time when people don't always do what they say they know how to do. This day and age, we have to be very careful who we contact, and I would contact Sagoo and refer him to family and friends. I have my fridge magnet, and next time, I will call him first! Thanks Sagoo. And no, he didn't give me a discount for writing this review! But maybe I will get one next time?? Hey Sagoo?

I woke up to my fridge and freezer both getting warm, i called city appliance that morning and a service man was at my house 2 hours later. I wasnt expecting to get someone so quick but was so happy as they fixed my fridge and i was able to save most of the food thanks city appliance!!

Worst Service EVER! Replaced the seal on my front loader and broke ALL the buttons on the front. The owner told me to prove it! Really? Like I have a picture of my washing machine to prove it wasn't damaged prior. Should of read the review placed 2 days ago.

Fridge wasn't working knew it was a simple repair. Ended up paying $250. Completely ripped off. Owner said he would call me back...never did this was the break down of what I paid

$50 for the first 1/2 hr
$125 for a part that at max worth $20
Would NEVER USE them again.

Really impressed how they came the next day I called, nailed the problem quickly and got it all working in no time. Friendly service as well which was great too!

Great and fast service. Friendly and knowledgeable. Knew right away what was wrong with the fridge and fixed the problem. Would recommend his company. Very satisfied with the great service.

This is the third time I have used City Appliance, all for different appliance repairs. Mr. Sagoo was very flexible to work around my changing schedule and availability. He was courteous, efficient, and professional. I will not hesitate to call him again.

My fridge stopped working and after a frustrating time on the phone with Samsung, several wrong numbers and a company promising service in one week, I happened across the list for City Appliance. I got next day service. The technician was very knowledgable and efficient and the problem was solved within 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this company.
