National Home Services No Longer In Business

I inherited this contract from previous owners as well, we looked at buying it out from them and they wanted an insane amount of money so we decided to stay with them. In 8 years I've never called them until today due to leaky water tank. I was told that someone would be coming between 5-9pm - Nobody showed up... Great service

We "inherited" a contract for our hot water tank rental from the previous owners... what a waste of money, this company is really really awful! I was forced to pay $1700 to buy out an almost 4-year old tank (that I could probably have installed NEW for even less than that)... Just buy your tank, they rarely break down and it's SO much cheaper!

We rented from them AC, Furnace and the water tank. This is our second house where we use their services. Customer service is excellent, responsive and accurate. Quality of work is very good. When we reported AC not working after 2 days, they came within 4 hours (just to find that the fused popped). Overall - great service!

We rented our hot water heater from National Home Services (roughly $25/month)- not by choice. When we purchased our home we had horrible customer service to transfer the rental to our names. Time and time again we couldn't log online to view statements, had to call multiple times for the "re-set" to actually work. Calling is almost impossible for anything: Rings, you select your number, music comes on, you wait on hold maybe 10 minutes, then "click" your call is dropped. Our furnace and AC is new, they were purchased again by the previous owners through National and installed by one of National's "sub-trades"... the AC was installed so poorly we had to have a repair done through another company ($500 later), because of course neither National or their sub-trade offered any type of warranty. The previous owners had initially rented these units as well and bought them out. I was told by a representative over the phone (people laughing in the background) that they were my units and I can do whatever I want with them. Basically "good luck, you're on your own." The company we dealt with to repair our AC could see right away that the inital installation was "not the greatest". Huge warning flag right there!
