You Name It

This company is advertised as a house cleaning/pooper scooping/errand running/do it all company. The huge problem is that it is run by a girl named Amanda who is very young and inexperienced, the house cleaning she provided was terrible. After she was done the house did not look clean but it did look untidy as she did not remember where things went and left them all over the place. The floor was dirty, the carpets did not get vacuumed. I cannot say what she "cleaned". She was also hired to "pooper scoop", even that was terrible. She did maybe half the job closest to the deck so upon initial inspection it looked good until you walked towards the fence. She completely ignored the outer perimeter of the yard. I emailed to tell her that I was not happy and requested she come back and finish the job as she was paid in full by cash. The email response I received was extremely rude and pretty much stated "you paid me in full when I was done that means you were happy. If your not happy you shouldn't have paid me. I will not be back cause you want a free clean." Ok then...great customer service. I learnt my lesson never to pay anyone cash again. The owner/operator Amanda seems so sweet and innocent when you meet her but that is an act.

I hired this company run by Amanda off Kijiji. She said she was a very experienced cleaner. I hired her to come and clean for 6 hours as no company or individual ever used less than 6 hours. When she showed up to do the house clean (she was an hour late with no call) she was just a child, she did drive so I was sure she was 16. I didn't want to disappoint her and tell her to go home as I did hire her and she seemed enthusiastic. I went room by room and explained anything special that needed to be done, such as don't vacuum the cow hide rug. I provided her with a notebook with detailed written instructions that copied what I showed her when we did the house tour. She said she understood everything, had no questions and stated "when I'm done cleaning your house it will be pristine". I gave her the notebook, headed up to my bedroom and let her work away. 3 hours later she knocked on my bedroom door and told me she was done. I was shocked, no one could clean my house in 3 hours, it is a large home. She did the worst job you can imagine, the house was worse after she cleaned it. She did not remember anything I told her, did not reference the notebook and used the wrong products on my furniture. She damaged so many things, it was horrible. Who uses shower cleaner on wood floors and furniture? She did. I sent her home with half her pay (we agreed 6 hours for $100, I paid her $50 for 3 hours) and the rest of the day and night 2 of us worked like crazy to get the chemicals off the furniture and floors before they were seriously damaged. Obviously we couldn't save everything and this lesson cost me over $5000 in damages. The next morning when I checked my email she had sent a message stating she wanted the rest if her money or she would take me to court. All I can say is bring it on little girl and warn everyone to check references!!
