Jarrah Contracting services recently upgraded our attic insulation. Dealing with Zee was a very pleasant experience. He arrived on time, was friendly and professional. He and his partner were thorough and showed us the work upon completion. Everything was done and cleaned up on time. Great experience! Would highly recommend.

I recently hired Jarrah contracting services for my home insulation project ( Attic, wall, air sealing, basement, sound installation and others) and I couldnt be more satisfied with the experience. From the initial consultation to the final installation, including the help to apply for the rebate program and the greener home loan. The customer service was outstanding. Jallal and Zee were prompt in answering my questions and provided a comprehensive explanation of the insulation options available. They helped me choose the best solution for my homes needs without any pressure.

The team were respectful of my home, taking care to minimize dust and disruption. Zee Jarrah was skilled, ensuring that the insulation was installed correctly and met all safety standards.

Jay and Manny were tasked with insulating the underneath of our master bedroom which was also the ceiling of our garage and topping off the insulation in the attic. They were great! Their work was professional as they clearly explained what they were going to do and presented and a clear and concise cost to complete the work. They showed up on time for the agreed upon date, completed the work accordingly. They were prompt, professional and showed exactly what work they had done. They also took pictures for the before and after work in the attic. Even after the work was completed they returned promptly not once but twice fir the next two days to do some touch ups regarding foam insulation. I look forward to working with Jay and Manny to complete future insulation work in my home. Thank you Jay and Manny!!

I will definitely recommend JCS for their excellent work at my house. Jay and the team is quite knowledgeable in providing to the point guidance about insulation, weather stripping etc. in the house. They are quite courteous and did excellent cleaning inside the house after the attic insulation was completed.

After getting our energy audit, we originally decided against adding insulation as the reward on paper wasnt that great. Then we met Jay and Manny at the Ottawa Fall Home Show. They showed us that their company does more than just blowing insulation. They are the whole package deal, extending baffles, air sealing so the attic was as energy efficient as possible. They are personable, friendly and very patient with us when asking questions. Well worth the money, and we are looking forward to our future energy savings and a warm house this winter.

I am incredibly fortunate that I picked Jarrah Contracting to seal and insulate our attic. Amazing work. Super clean. Detail oriented. Both guys work in sync. I could go on and on about how amazing they are. I asked a lot of questions and they took the time to explain everything to me. I was let down many times by contractors before, so I was worried this time too. Half way through the work I just sat down on my front yard chair and stopped worrying. Amazing work, good quality insulation material, great machines and tools. They respect your house. No mess at all. I will use them again for my other properties and other projects.

We submitted a quote request through homestars and JCS were quick to answer the request. JCS were the last of 3 quotes we received. If they would have been the first, we would have cancelled the other 2 as they were amazing from the start. Not only were their price on point but Jay was a pleasure to deal with. He made everything effortless from emailing the quote on the spot (we absolutely no pressure) to booking the job for the following week. He even initiated the rebate process for us. Jay and Manny came the following week for the installation. They were right on time and did the job quickly and quietly (my 4 month old daughter never woke up), weather sealed the attic as well as other areas in our home to prevent air seepage. They cleaned up very well after and they were on their way. They were very professional throughout and the whole process was quite pleasant. If you are considering adding insulation to your attic, save yourself some time and effort and just call JCS. It'll be the best decision you can make for your home. Thank you Jay and Manny. I would strongly recommend JCS as they provided me with excellent service, for the best price. I received quotes from 4 contractors for a project consisting of: attic insulation top-up from R30 to R60 and air sealing; general house air sealing and adding batt insulation in my basement. Jay was the most thorough in his inspection of the house, and the only one who asked to visit each room to see whether there were signs of moisture on the ceilings. He knows very well the existing energy rebate programs from Natural Resources Canada and Enbridge and what the Energy Auditors are looking for. He is the only one who offered air sealing of all attic-accessible light fixtures and bathroom vents as well as general air sealing of the house (caulking around window trims and doors (interior), foam gaskets in electrical outlets and switches of perimeter walls) at no extra cost, while other companies would charge an extra $300 for attic sealing, and $900 for general air sealing of the house without even evaluating what work was required. He estimated the attic surface size accurately, while one company provided a quote for 400 square foot larger than the actual size, inflating the cost of the estimate by close to $1200! Jay and his colleague Many were on time, very pleasant, professional in their approach and very helpful with all my questions. The communication with JCS was clear and prompt replies came for each of my electronic communications with the company. With JCS, you get the best bang for your buck, hands down!
