I was delighted to find Summerwood. They had the shed I wanted at a reasonable price and could ship to me at reasonable price. Looking forward to assembling it this weekend!
Beware - shipping cost and ability to ship may not be what they say!
I was delighted to find Summerwood. They had the shed I wanted at a reasonable price and could ship to me at reasonable price. Unfortunately they were not able to deliver to the final location in the end. At the last minute, I had to source an alternate shipper on my own, with no help from Summerwood at a much higher cost (34% more). When I asked for a refund on the shipping amount I paid to Summerwood, I was told that shipping prices had changed and instead of refunding me the entire amount for the portion of the delivery they were unable to complete, they would instead refund only a portion to help 'cover their costs'. Despite repeated attempts to recover what I paid, including talking to the company owner, I was only successful in recovering a portion of what I paid. What a disappointment. I was so excited with my purchase and this experience has completely soured my impression of the company. I'm posting this as a warning to others.
