An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of the plans, the material list and the building instructions. This was my first stick-build project of this size and the quality of the plans and instructions allowed me to be very confident in the process and the result.
Due to the confined space I had for the shed, I modified the plan to construct the 12’ walls in two complete (frame with siding) 6’ sections. All the sides when completed with painted siding and assembled so the corners had a sealed overlapping joint. The plan was excellent in allowing me to modify the framing dimensions and construction procedure.
I am very happy with the result and I have recommended Summerwood to my friends.
