Quality First Roofing

This is the second house that Quality First Roofing has done for me. Michael was great to work with. He and his crew arrived as promised and the job was finished on time and on budget. After the job was completed his crew did a great job cleaning up the property.

Michael and his crew were courteous, professional and, while not the cheapest, were competitively priced.

This review will sound like it was written by Michael's mother but still....

Our almost 100 year old house has what could be politely called a complex roof .... 3 curved dormers, a square dormer, a flat roof , curved metal work and numerous different elevations.

The fantastic Michael and his crew navigated all of this over the course of a week of working during all daylight hours with hard work, technical expertise and a good attitude.

Micheal put up with all of the challenges with our constantly changing schedule as our project had windows and doors that didn't quite arrive on time. Our initial quote included items that had to be dealt with on the spot by my contractor but Michael didn't need to be asked - he immediately amended his original quote and reasonably dealt with other items as they came along.

He was always INSTANTLY available and saw the big picture.

My contractor of 17 years couldn't speak highly enough of the workmanship and couldn't get over how Michael left a platform on our roof to allow the other trades to finish their work in a safe environment.

On the day that I gave the final payment I looked out to see Michael wandering through my bushes ..... he was actually doing a final walk through to find any shingles or debris that his crew had missed. On top of everything, he's an astoundingly nice guy!

After dealing with many trades over the years, I'm just happy and fortunate to have used Quality First and can't recommend them enough.

Michael and his team were very respectful, efficient, and unbelievably clean, given they had to scrape off an old tar and gravel roof.
They took apart a large deck to redo roof and put it back perfectly.
I am no expert on roofing but the first rain we’ve already had tells me that the work they did accurately solved our issues.

Full roof replacement and installation of two new skylights. The team did a great job.

I posted a request on Homestars when I discovered my roof was leaking. Michael was very prompt in responding to my request. The crew was efficient and did a great job of keeping the debris contained and cleaning up the area afterwards. From the photos, the workmanship of the new roof looks great.

There was a bit of impact damage to the ceiling of one of my bedrooms, but their drywaller did such a high quality repair, you can't even see it.

Michael also replaced, at no extra cost, the small roof over my back porch so that all the roofing would match. The guys did a great job and it was a stress-free project. I highly recommend them.

Partial replacement of roofing tiles over two curved sections of roof, including 2 skylights. The quote was reasonable and the rep took the time to walk around the roof with me, answering my questions and clarifying the details of the job.

Once the team were on-site, they were fast and efficient in their work with minimal disruption. The final product looks great, and I'm very happy with the level of service and follow up.

I'm only giving 4 stars of 5 because I found a lot of tile scraps on my lawn and garden for several days after... but that was a minor thing, and no stray roofing nails so that's good.

Overall fantastic work, and I would highly recommend them.
