Wet Basements Gta

Although originally satisfied with this contractor I can tell you now that I am thoroughly dissatisfied! Zibby and his crew did an extensive waterproofing contract at my house where they excavated and waterproofed the entire perimeter. The majority of the work was done in a good and timely manner but the contract was not fully executed. I was left with a huge ungraded mound around the entire perimeter when the excavation was filled and told simply to "water it" and that it would level out. Leveling the backfill of the excavation was most definitely included in the contract and never executed. Ultimately, I had to hire another company to do the work that was supposed to be included in WBGTA's contract. Having read other review's it appears the EXACT same thing has happened to other's who have used this company. Zibby never kept his word to come back and finish his job. I cannot and will not recommend this contractor which is a shame because he decided to ruin a good relationship and a good job with me, over something he so easily could have rectified at an insignificant cost in comparison to the value of the contract.

Zibby from Wet Basement Gta gave one of three quotes. His was the highest, but the most complete in assessing the problem. Price per foot of excavation was n between the other two. promised a two day job and he delivered. Very impressed with the crew he sent. Very professional, knowledgeable polite and efficient. They protected my neighbors property, cleaned up the site completely after the first day so that there would be no safety on inconvenience issues over the weekend. After having to carry out many extensive and expensive renovations on our 130 yr old home, we were cautious about the extensive basement reno we had decided to undertake (underpinning, waterproofing etc). As soon as we met with Zibby we felt we could trust him and though he was not the cheapest quote, he was fair. Over the next months it became very clear we made the right decision. Zibby and his company are incredibly professional, respectful (punctual, clean), and will do whatever possible to deal appropriately with any "surprises" which might pop up (and in our old, often "renovated" downtown basement, many did). I unreservedly recommend Zibby and will only use Wet Basement Get in the future. Thanks Zibby!
