Removed existing stone. Cut back roots ,levelled and reset stone that had either lifted from roots or settled over time. Arrived on time, professional, made some suggestions that improved the existing work.

We wanted to turn our backyard into an oasis where we could get together and spend great family time together. Bill and his team worked so well with us, from the early planning stage all the way to the final details. Team was onsite everyday and they met the project timelines with great quality.

Worked with the owners of McCartney Landscaping in the spring of 2023 to completely re-do our back yard. We needed the pool and patio redone, new tree plantings, etc. We chose this company as he and his son did the majority of the work, so each day if changes needed to be made, or adjustments to plans - the owner was right there. They were extremely flexible and easy to work with. you can tell that they had years of experience. It was a very rainy time and then kept things as clean as possible. They also coordinated their work with our pool company and carpenters.
We had them back for a second small job on our front step this spring and have recommended them to others.

Not a large job but one that required a visual inspection and estimate, not one from a Google view and a stock reply.
Bill came ,discussed the repair and gave an estimate.
Within days he and his son came and completed the work and gave me
an idea of cost for future work in the spring.
Need less to say I am pleased the rest.

Bill had a fantastic vision. Drew out detailed plans. Listened to our likes/dislikes and incorporated them into the project. The team was all very friendly and professional and did great work. Couldn't be happier and will definitely pass out his cards and use him for other projects.

Bill did a great job of putting in a new pool deck and adjacent patio. He came well equipped to jack hammer out the old cracked concrete deck, and laid in a very attractive stone surface with matching pool coping. After three years an unexpected issue has arisen, and Bill is taking care of it, for which I am grateful. Bill was recommended by my long time pool maintenance company, and I am happy they did.

Bill was punctual, reliable, and reasonable. He laid out a quote and honoured it. I highly recommend McCartney hardscaping/landscaping for all of your needs.

McCartney , father and son did an excellent job. They made good design suggestions in response to our ideas. They were very patient and responsive to changes we asked for . Their work was done to a high standard , and on time as promised.

We were referred to McCartney Landscaping by another trusted contractor, and we were not disappointed.

In the spring, Bill emailed us some interlock design choices for our backyard, and we agreed on one with some alterations. Bill, his son, and the rest of the crew completed the project on time and on budget. The work site was kept clean and COVID protocols were observed.

We were so happy that we asked Bill for a driveway quote in the fall. They relaid the driveway, widening it slightly and reusing interlocking bricks to reduce the cost. They also repaired some issues with unfinished work by a previous contractor.

Would not hesitate to hire McCartney Landscaping again in the future.
