Alquinn Homes Ltd.

This was our first build and as happy as we are in our new home we definetly ran into some hiccups along the way. Now since it was our first build we were new to the process but we've had family members who have built with other local builders in Regina sk so we had some comparisons. To start off we love the finished product of our home and it turned out beautifully the finishings in alquinn homes make them stand out above the rest. I love that they allow the customer to be creative and be original. So a huge plus! However, a lot similar to many other comments I feel this company has bitten off more than they can chew which can make customers feel like less of a priority. We at times throughout the process would not get responses from the staff for weeks. We too like others have mentioned were given timelines and "promises" that were constantly not met and if we did not approach staff would not hear from
Them as to why or any explanation. For instance, our garage was to be built when we took possession. We were told many many times this would happen we moved in on possession day and it was not done. They told us to expect this to be done in a months time and we at this point were just happy to have a plan. This too was not met. Not only has our garage now not been completed but they have put it down on their priority list and are siding other garages to houses that are not yet occupied. The communicaton between staff is poor and this is sadly just one example of the run around we have received. It's unfortunate but the owner too does not seem to involved or care how his customers feel... Customers who plan to build again someday as this is a starter home. I have had other realtors in our community say they've taken clients to see the homes and tried to follow up but they took a very long time to reply. We too felt that at the beginning of our process.

All in all we love our home. But the process has caused many ups but downs too with tears and headaches that this company has caused. Would I recommend this home... If you have the patience and realize the stress it will cause it can be worth it. And I'm sure we will look back once it's all cleared up and feel it's worth it... We hope.
