It is a family run company operating out of Maple Ridge. I went with this company as they assured me that the job would be done professionally and that they had many satisfied customers. They gave us addresses of the fences that they had done and, upon inspection, they looked good.
Based upon this, we signed a contact and gave them a deposit. When they came out to measure for the aluminum railing, I show them a sample of the colour to match, height and where the borders were. What we didn't talk about was what type of closures were to be used. We were told that they do this all the time and that it would be done professionally. However, when it was being installed, I saw that it was the cheap closures and was told that this is what everyone was using and if I wanted something different, I had to call a lock smith to have it fabricated myself. I ended up filling and fixing the holes that were drilled into the posts. Furthermore, after they were finished, they said that they wanted the balance of the contract and weren't leaving until they got it, even though, I had made arrangements with the sales person that I wanted a day or so to see how the fence looked. I talked to the sales person afterwards (while handing over a cheque) and she said in a month or so, she will be back to see how the closures could be handled. She never got back to me and I have a few calls in since last July to find out how to solve this situation. The last time I called was earlier this year and someone assured that someone would get back to me. The company never got back to me to resolve this.
Overall, the fence is done but I am currently using shoelaces to keep the gates closed for now. It seems to me that as long as the job is done and they are paid, that's all they are interested in. The follow up and customer satisfaction from this company is non-existent. I am posting in the hopes that others will benefit from this and think twice before using them.
