AGM Renovations

If I could go back in time I would not choose this particular company again.

COVID and supply chain issues aside, my experience from beginning to end was very good. Nicolle (Project Consultant) was prompt, pleasant, and quite humorous in her replies to get the ball rolling. From our various correspondence with Nicolle, we knew after interviewing 4 other contractors it would be a good fit. She listened. She answered our questions. She did not apply any pressure. She offered what the other contractors interviewed did notpeace of mind. Parishi (Designer) offered some advice that we didnt think of. Alex (PM) and Justin (on site Pro) were able to complete the project to our satisfaction. The new window treatment group was a nice touch as well. As this was our first major reno, we did learn a number of things throughout the process. 1) Dont do renos during COVID as prices are astronomical and selection is limited; 2) homes older than 1985 require asbestos analysis and if confirmed to have any traces of asbestos, proper plumbing disconnect, demo, and disposal from a non-AGM company was required; 3) the levelness of existing walls, floor, and ceiling was not brought to our attention. If it was flagged at the PM walk through, we may have opted to pay the additional expense to make it so.

As this reno was also unplanned due to leaking of the sink and therefore not budgeted for, AGMs ability to have financing arranged through them brought the financial stress down substantially.

We are quite pleased with the results, the minimal stress encountered once under way, and the quick turnaround. I would happily recommend AGM Renovation.

UPDATE 5/6 (2022): AGM now has a Blinds division which completed the update nicely. Sofia (Sales) and Mustafa (Installer) were great. Good selection. Lifetime warranty.

After a long time of negotiation with AGM Management all of our issues and concerns related to our Reno were solved with a positive outcome.

We had a good experience with AGM. Right from the start with the first call to get a quotation the process was very smooth. The salesperson, Eric was great, very engaging and easy to talk to.

Moving on to the construction process, it was a pleasure to work with Sergei, the Project Manager. There were a couple of minor issues, but Sergei was very responsive and addressed our concern immediately. We were very pleased with the professionalism and how organize our project was managed. Our project started and was completed as planned. We would like to thank Sergei and his team. We are very pleased with the end result.

We would definitely recommend AGM and will not hesitate to use them again in the future and refers them to our friends.

Sergei was an absolute pleasure to deal with! He was extremely responsive and paid attention to every detail! He ensured that everything was done in a timely manner and to our satisfaction. Anytime I had any questions he would respond immediately. All of the workers that came for each step were also extremely professional and kind. I would definitely recommend Sergei as a project manager as he always went above and beyond for us!

The AGM team was awesome, Ricardo our Project Manager very dedicated and great with communication, very happy with our new living space.

My kitchen was done a few months ago.
The finished job is good BUT do not get me started on the staff (not including contractors) of AGM. Extremely poor communication! Some staff being left in the dark on certain issues, some staff being unprofessional and rude, some just plain ignores their emails. The back and forth was overwhelming. I was literally stressed out from this project. I would not recommend AGM at all. The contractors who actually did the work yes, but most of the staff were so horrible. I even get blamed for bringing up issues with my kitchen. Like what???? Ridiculous - From the beginning of my project till the end. To add to this, it seems like I did not get an official inspection of my kitchen to ensure quality checks. My new flooring was scratched, the flooring was replaced in some parts and was not properly done or something because, they are lifting and cracking. Whew!! One of the worst experiences of my life. If you want to use AGM to get your beautiful kitchen go ahead but be prepared for a string of miscommunication and vicious headaches.

I worked with Greg on my kitchen Reno. He went above and beyond my expectations!! I would recommend him and AGM renovations!!
