Gas leak in stove installation
We had a gas stove installed in 2017, and today, one a a half years later, a gas technician from a different company reported that there was a gas leak because two pipes had not been properly joined together. Although the tag on the gas line indicates it was tested, there is no way it could have been tested properly. I am so thankful for the technician who inspected the gas line today, informed me of the issue and then repaired it. I cannot recommend Lakeside because of this although they had previously installed my gas BBQ without issue. Be careful - ask to see the test instead of trusting the gas fitter and the little tag they leave on the pipe. There is no oversight of gas installation so you have to do it yourself.
