Mike from the Ukraine was amazing!! He aslo reinstalled dishwasher properly. Whole new ptrap system. Snaked clogged drain 25ft into wall. Left us very satisfied. Would recommend anytime. Very happy.

I had a serious problem with the washing machine in our condo because it was giving rise to leaks under the kitchen sink where the water lines were. I thought the cause of the problem was simply output hose from the washing machine. However, Mike saw immediately that ALL of the plumbing under the kitchen sink had been done poorly (...and I had already spent money on other plumbers in the past to try and fix this area!...) So he proposed replacing all of the pipes under the sink (and installing a clean-out) in order to address ALL of the poor routing, poor levelling, poor seals and poor access. He indicated that the problem was really that water simply could not drain properly at all here and this would be a permanent solution. It was a bigger job than I anticipated, of course, but he fixed EVERYTHING in under three hours and it proved to be a flawless and a very "neat" piece of work. There is now MUCH more room under the sink, both for access and storage. On his way out, Mike had a quick look at the adjoining bathroom and concluded there was no evidence of any immediate difficulties with the sink, the shower or the toilet (though he pointed out that the toilet was REALLY old and should be replaced with a better appliance, as soon as we get a chance)...So, excellent advice and excellent workmanship, all round! HIGHLY recommended!

The dishwasher feed sprung a leak during a DYI installation of a new dishwasher. An elbow joint solder gave way below the base floor. I had to shut off the water to the entire house to stop the leak from doing further damage to the garage.

Unable to find the time necessary to do it myself (and restore water service to my house), I scrambled for a plumber. I called at 10pm and somebody answered the phone! I made an appointment and he was here the next morning as promised. Not only did he fix the leak, but he relocated the valve at my request, offered to fix the valve gasket he felt was faulty, and recommended a new hose for my dishwasher. All done in an hour, I went to back to the office where I belong- with little time wasted. Thank you so much for the great service and professionally installed plumbing.

We had a clogged sewer line due to previous contractor's bad plumbing of a shower drain. Mike came and scoped the sewer line. Determined a blockage, explained issue and remedy completely with an upfront quote. Completed work in time frame and cost quoted. Mike and his team were very professional and I would call them again for any plumbing needs.

My main drain was clogged, and it flood my basement. I called DrainRooter Plumbing, they were at my door in 30 minutes. Ryan was nice and explained the situation. He worked hard and unclogged my basement. While he was doing the snake, I saw everything on the camera and he told me what the problem was, which was overgrown roots that clogged the pipes. He told me that if this happens again, we’re going to have to excavate it. The camera inspection was well done, im impressed with the service, plumber was very professional, nice and helpful. Mike was fantastic and saved us a huge headache when something went wrong.

Leaky shower and faucet, Mike correctly identified that the original installer had put the cartridge in backward. While cutting out a component, a pipe valve failed and started spraying water (not his fault, we're in an old building).

Mike got the situation under control quickly.
He was courteous and communicative with our building staff.
He then spent 8 hours completing what had turned into a much larger job. He cleared his other appointments and made sure the job was done right before leaving.
He didn't charge us anything more than the estimate for our work (our building got an extra bill, but they're fault for not keeping up with maintenance).

The finished job is great and it was a huge relief with someone who could react to a crisis quickly and competently.

For the past several months, our basement has had an increasingly terrible smell. Once we determined that the problem was related to plumbing, and on the basis of reviews on homestars, we called Mike and Drainrooter. I am so glad that I did! Mike and his company get right what so many in the industry often get wrong. Mike showed up for an assessment - with no promise of a "minimum" charge - and quickly diagnosed the problem. He laid out what needed to be done, how much it would cost, and the timeline to fix the problem. What happened next what exactly what Mike predicted. He found the problem - a useless pipe attached to the main drain that needed to be dug up - and fixed it within a day. What's more, and especially considering the excavation necessary to complete the job, you would not know Mike was there when it was finished. The concrete pouring and cleanup was expertly handled. Finally, I should point out that my family experienced a health crisis the day of the job. Mike was supportive and sensitive, leaving me with absolutely no concerns about him being alone in the house. You've got a customer for life Mike!

We needed to rerun some plumbing to add a utility sink in our laundry room. Mike came by to give us a quote, was very friendly, on time on each of the subsequent work trips and charged us exactly what was quoted. I would use Mike again for future services.
