New Look Windows & Doors

We replaced all windows on the top floor of our bungalow, and one in the basement. The price was competitive and the company had good Homestars reviews, so we went with them. New look windows is not a manufacturer: like most window companies they are a subcontractor who then sends your order to a third party manufacturer to be made, but they install them. This is fine, but we found that after New Look had measured our windows (twice) it took several weeks for the third party manufacturer to come and measure the windows again (apparently that has to be done, not sure why they need to duplicate the work) and then actually order them. So the process took several weeks longer than expected. However, New Look was good to deal with and responsive to my concerns about timing, and ultimately the windows were installed within 1 day and they look great. The actual glass area is less than before (the frames are all about 4” wider than before, all the way around, so you lose a lot of glass area), but when I asked about this I was told that’s how all high efficiency windows are. All in all I was satisfied with the experience.
