Upsell and pressure tactics. Beware.
I don't usually write reviews but feel a responsibility to warn people of the predatory pricing tactics this company employs. I have read a few other reviews and see that I am not the only victim of their pricing process. I have employed many contactors over the years and this is the first time I have been a victim of this. I contacted this company a couple of months ago to fix some leaks in my pipes and my kitchen faucet. Three people showed up. One of whom was the estimator. The 2 technicians patiently. waited while the estimator went through a lengthy assessment of the pipe situation and described a filter system that I would benefit from in addition to fixing the pipes. I repeatedly told him that I was not in a position to afford a filter system but he insisted on explaining it to me and writing up a quote for it, another plan which involved paying them an annual fee for an upgraded level of service and finally, the work I had invited them in my home to fix. It was a working day for me and I had to get onto a Zoom meeting. When he shared the cost of the 3 estimates, as predicted, I couldn't afford the two pricier options. I signed off on the cheapest option which was approx $1700. It was probably double what I should have paid. Although they did a good job and their technicians were polite, I would never trust this company again. When I sent them payment, I told them so. They were very defensive. Please be cautious. They over estimate the cost of the work and, if you feel under pressure like I did, you sign off. The overestimate protects and works for them, not for you though. Please be aware.
