Dave and his assistant, Robbie, took care of several plumbing issues around the house that have been bothering me for some time (leaky hose bib, smelly kitchen sink, unusable hose bib in the garage) and also installed a new toilet and second hose bib. I'm extremely pleased with their work! They took care to protect the house by wearing booties when inside, and their work was neat and tidy. I also appreciate the time they took to answer my questions and offer advice.

Except for a minor misunderstanding during the first visit, they were punctual, and I was impressed that Dave even called to let me know that they were stuck in traffic and would arrive later than expected.

Based on my two experiences with Durham Plumbing, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company to my friends or family or to call Dave again in the future.

I attempted to fix a clogged sink, as well as a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink. I soon realised I needed a professional, and left a voice message for Dave after 9:00PM. The following morning, I again telephoned Dave, and he assured me he would come by mid morning. Dave reviewed the issue on arrival, and commenced fixing the clogged drain. He also assisted with resolving two locations that were leaking, replaced the "U" pipe with one that allows access for easy clearing, repositioned and reinforced the pipes, and replaced a bracket he found to be poorly connected (and was an accident waiting to happen). I found Dave to be very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He also answered any questions I asked, and seemed quite honest in his responses. He had all the required parts, and was also able to make a part, based on his available parts. I would recommend Dave to my closest friends and relatives. Great job!!

I first met Dave when he came to my home to diagnose and fix a hidden drip coming from a modular shower. He quickly diagnosed the problem, but soon found other issues from the nightmare "DIY" jobs from the previous owner. There was never any pressure, he patiently showed me what the problems were and recommended solutions. Dave is a genuine craftsman who enjoys his work and does it well, and this shows in his finished work. We were adding a bathroom to our basement and there was no plumbing roughed in. We called Durham Plumbing for a quote on the plumbing part of the job only. Dave came out when he said he would to quote the job and the price was fair as he had to add everything for the bathroom. He was even willing to work around my husband who wanted to do all the other work. He was very professional, clean and on time. His work was very neat and he finished on time and within the quoted amount. He was extremely helpful in recommendations for the rest of the project. I even felt comfortable leaving him in my home while I went out.
